The National Microelectronics Program and the Headquarters for the Development of Nano and Micro Technologies of the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, in collaboration with the Center For Lab Services of Sharif University of Technology and supported by the Innovation and Prosperity Fund, are organizing the Iran MEMS Chip Manufacturing Event. This call aims to support researchers, students, faculty members, and technologists active in this field and to promote innovative projects and the development of products.
This call includes two events as follows:
Event 1: Pressure Sensor Manufacturing Competition
Event 2: Uniaxial Accelerometer Manufacturing Competition
The supports provided in this event include:
- Conducting educational workshops and providing technical consultation for selected projects
- Offering chip manufacturing services
- Providing infrastructure services for testing and packaging the chips
- Supporting the commercialization of products with a focus on automotive, medical equipment, and household appliances
- Allocating space for design and manufacturing
Event prizes:
- First place teams in each category: 100 million Tomans
- Second place teams in each category: 50 million Tomans

Due to numerous requests from registered teams, the deadline for submitting proposals and process flow forms for the Micro/Nano Cleanroom has been extended until the end of Farvardin 1403 (April 2024). New teams can also register during this period. However, participating teams and those interested in joining the event should note that this is the final deadline for form submission, as no further extensions will be granted. The results will be announced in Ordibehesht 1403 (May 2024).
