Launching a Selective Laser Melting (SLM) machine in the Metal Additive Manufacturing Laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering and Materials Science, Sharif University of Technology

Dr. Mojtaba Movahedi, Technical Director of the Metal Additive Manufacturing Laboratory, said on the sidelines of the ceremony to launch the selective laser melting device services, noting that this device uses the selective laser melting method, which is one of the methods based on powder bed fusion (PBF), and that this device is capable of manufacturing research samples and industrial parts made of aluminum alloys, titanium, stainless steels, etc. with high accuracy (up to 30 micrometers).

Applicants for the use of this device services can contact the laboratory through the Laboratory Services Center reception at 8-66166246 and register for services.
